“What’s going on?” I asked Ingrid as she stepped out of the shower with a towel wrapped around her. I noticed her belly had increased since the last time I had seen her about a week ago. Her baby was growing quickly in there, she was in her third month and soon she would have to go away on maternity for six months.

“It’s party time, Siri.” She gushed, slipping on her pink uniform. “Six of us are going to join Holly and her team for a party on Thorn Magnusson’s monthly Paciflyer all night party over Vegas.”

“Wow!” I said with wonder. “The Swedish rocker, Thorn Magnusson?”

“Yeah, that golden haired wonder boy of rock and roll.” Kelley said, walking up to her locker. “It’s a blast, baby. He’ll have his whole band, producers and agents on the flight. We are going to have a milk-shake party to shake all milk-shakes.”

I loved Thorn Magnusson. Ever since I was thirteen I’ve had a major crush on the guy. He was a Rock god, with his long golden hair, his crazy fast guitar playing and oh, that heavenly voice. And he was one of Paciflyer’s regular passengers. I hadn’t known that in the three weeks that I was here. And now that I did, I would make sure that I was going to be on that flight, on the mid-air party, serving up my milk to Thorn Magnusson.

“How long has he been using our services for his private parties?” I asked Jennifer as she stripped down before me.

“Oh, like for the last two or three years.” She said, stepping into the shower. “I’ve absolutely loved the parties and so will you.”

“I will?” I looked surprised. “I never thought I’d be on any exclusive flights yet.”

“Like hell you won’t, Odinsdotter.” I felt the familiar smarting smack of Kelley’s hand on my ass. “Holly’s really impressed by your work with us, especially your exclusive services to Hanley Lehman and Shaun Truman.”

“Wow, really?” I was amazed. No wonder I received a little bonus with my weekend paycheck.

“Yeah, baby.” Ingrid walked back in carrying a roster. “Here you go, all you lucky gals.”

I glanced at the piece of paper over Kelley’s shoulder. My name was there, in the middle along with Holly Ranger herself and Elaine Jonickson, a sort of legend at Paciflier. Kelley, Ingrid, Jennifer and three others made up the rest. The card said ‘milk shake party, bring your own milk.’

“Sounds like fun.” I breathed.

“You haven’t seen anything yet, baby.” Kelley laughed. “Come on. Gals. Let’s get on up the skywalk, the Magnusson party plane takes off in an hour.

I felt a chill of excitement course through me. Barely had I got my bearings right about this job and I was going to meet a celebrity, one on whom I had a crush on for years. I couldn’t have been more blessed. A high flying, high paying job; getting paid to get laid and all these great perks like exclusive private parties.

An hour to midnight and we were flying at twenty thousand feet toward Las Vegas.
